First RunGP Jeddah to put runners on the Corniche Circuit in November
RunGP is bringing a night of races to the Jeddah Corniche Circuit on Saturday 14 November, from a children's mile to a half marathon, with entries from SAR 67.50.
Jeddah will host its first RunGP, a running event held on the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, the track used for Formula 1. Destination KSA and What's On Saudi Arabia both report it for next month, on Saturday 14 November. One listing shows a different date for some races, so confirm on the registration page before booking.
There are four races. One Mo' Mile is for ages 4 to 15, over 400 metres, 800 metres or a mile, starting at 4pm, from SAR 67.50. One Lap is a single 6.174 km lap of the circuit for ages 16 and over, starting at 7pm. The Grand Prix covers 14.065 km and the Endurance race is a 21.1 km half marathon, both for ages 18 and over and both starting around 8pm. The Grand Prix standard package is listed at SAR 111.35 and the Endurance race starts from SAR 144.94.
Adult entries include a race bib, chip timing with live results, water on the course and snacks. Higher packages add a medal or a finisher shirt.
