Continuum '26 shows new media art at Diriyah Art Futures until 7 November
The second Continuum exhibition brings immersive installations, VR and AI works by 16 emerging artists to Diriyah Art Futures.
Continuum '26, the annual show of Diriyah Art Futures' Emerging New Media Artists Programme, is open in Diriyah until 7 November. It brings together works made over a year by 16 emerging artists working with two mentors, Louis-Philippe Demers and Rick Treweek, in a programme developed with France's Le Fresnoy.
The works use immersive installations, light, sound, moving image, virtual and mixed reality and AI, around themes of memory, identity, place and belonging. Among them are Fai Ahmed's "Suspended Memory", a desk surrounded by large projections about oral storytelling, Omar Adel's video installation "The Time That Remains" and Harpreet Sareen's "Echoes of the Unseen".
The exhibition is curated by Irini Papadimitriou with Bushra Alghamdi as assistant curator. Workshops and talks on AI, VR and digital photography run alongside it. Check opening hours and entry on the Diriyah Art Futures website before visiting.
