Superdome, Jeddah
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah will hold the sixth Hajj Conference and Exhibition at the Superdome in Jeddah from 8 to 11 November, under the patronage of King Salman. It is organised with the Pilgrim Experience Program, one of the Vision 2030 programmes, and is used to prepare for the 1448 AH Hajj season: signing contracts, settling operations and building partnerships.
More than 520 government, private and non-profit organisations from Saudi Arabia and abroad are taking part. The programme has three tracks (infrastructure and operations, empowerment and integration, and sustainable development) and more than 15 zones, including the conference itself, the Hajj Council, workshops, a hackathon, an innovation and start-up area, and an awareness and training forum held for the first time. The exhibition covers more than 67,000 square metres, with exhibitors from over 150 countries in aviation, transport, hospitality, health and technology.
The doors are open from 9am to 9pm each day. Visitors register on the event website, hajjconfex.com, which also has separate registration for exhibitors and a jobs forum for work in pilgrim services. An entry fee has not been announced on the site.
