The Film Commission will hold the fourth Saudi Film Forum on 28 and 29 October at JAX Studios in Riyadh, under the patronage of Culture Minister Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, who chairs the commission's board. This year's theme is "Meeting of the Scene Makers".

The two days combine a conference with panel discussions, an exhibition of companies working across the film business and specialist workshops. The forum is aimed at producers, directors, screenwriters, production and distribution companies, technical service providers and decision-makers in the industry. The commission says the first three editions led to 94 agreements worth more than SAR 1 billion.

For people working in Saudi film or trying to get into it, this is the industry's main meeting point of the autumn, held in the studios where many local productions are shot. Registration details and ticket prices have not been announced yet; watch the Film Commission's channels for how to attend.
