World Petroleum Congress opens in Riyadh, running until 15 October

The 25th WPC Energy Congress, formerly the World Petroleum Congress, runs from 11 to 15 October at Riyadh Front, with organisers expecting more than 25,000 participants.

Riyadh is hosting the 25th WPC Energy Congress, the event long known as the World Petroleum Congress, from Sunday 11 October to Thursday 15 October. The main venue is the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center, with some sessions listed at the Ritz-Carlton Riyadh. This year's theme is "Pathways to an Energy Future for All".

The organisers expect more than 25,000 energy leaders, policymakers and specialists. According to Al Madina, the week brings more than 70 ministers, more than 300 company chairs and senior executives, and the heads of more than 25 international energy organisations to the capital.

Several ministerial meetings run alongside the congress: the 17th International Energy Forum ministerial meeting, the 17th Clean Energy Ministerial and the 11th Mission Innovation ministerial, the last two from 11 to 13 October and hosted by the Ministry of Energy.

Riyadh Front is on King Khalid International Airport Road. Anyone hoping to attend should check passes and the daily programme on the congress website, wpcenergy2026.org; we did not find a public ticket price.
