Opening hours The RCRC's pages do not publish the metro's current daily hours. It sends riders to the interactive map in the Darb app and to the Riyadh Public Transport website, rpt.sa, for routes and timings.

Getting to the station There are 19 park and ride sites for metro riders, each for 400 to 600 cars, plus four more car parks for bus riders who connect to the metro. Every station has lifts to all levels, wide ticket gates and platform doors wide enough for a wheelchair.

On board Eating and drinking are not allowed on the metro or the buses. Food and drinks you carry must be in a closed, spill-proof container.

What is coming next The Red Line is being extended by 8.4 km from King Saud University to the Diriyah Gate project, with five new stations: two at King Saud University and three in Diriyah, one of them a future interchange with a Line 7. The RCRC says a trip from King Fahd Sports City station to central Diriyah will take no more than 40 minutes. It has not published an opening date for the extension.
