7 things to book at AlUla Skies Festival, 6 to 15 November
AlUla Skies Festival runs for ten days from 6 November with balloon flights, glow shows, free stargazing and a Nancy Ajram concert. Here is what each costs and how to book.
AlUla Skies Festival returns from 6 to 15 November 2026, timed for moonless nights over what Experience AlUla calls the Gulf's first certified Dark Sky Reserve. Mornings are for balloons and evenings for stars, light shows and music. These seven experiences are listed on experiencealula.com, where most are booked; some are walk-in only, as noted. Nights are cold in November, so bring a warm layer. A VOX Moonlight Cinema in Ashar Valley is listed as coming soon.
1. AlUla Skyrise: 30 hot air balloons rise together over Hegra at sunrise. The flight lasts about 60 minutes within a four-hour experience, with pick-up between 04:30 and 08:30 from selected hotels or an agreed point. SAR 990 per person, ages 6 and up, booked by 16:00 the day before.
2. Tethered Hot Air Balloon Experience: a 20-minute ride up to 50 metres above AlManshiyah Plaza, every evening from 18:00 to 22:00. SAR 100, walk-in only, with tickets sold on the spot between 17:45 and 21:30. Ages 6 and up.

4. Stargazing at AlUla Fort: an hour of guided stargazing and storytelling from the 10th-century fort above AlUla Old Town, on 6, 7, 13 and 14 November at 19:30 and 21:00. Free, but you must register. Ages 10 and up; meet at the Old Town Visitor Centre.
