Riyadh's second draw for SAR 1,500-a-metre plots is set for mid-December
The Royal Commission for Riyadh City says applications and eligibility checks for the second year of its residential plots programme are done, with the electronic draw planned for mid-December.
The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) has finished taking applications and checking eligibility for the second year of its real estate balance programme, which offers residential plots in Riyadh at no more than SAR 1,500 a square metre. The electronic draw is planned for mid-December, the commission said at the government press conference this week. An exact date was not given.
The programme plans to offer between 10,000 and 40,000 residential plots a year over five years. In its first year it allocated 10,024 plots covering more than 6.3 million square metres, and handover to the first winners has started, alongside infrastructure work in five residential master plans.
If you applied for the second year, there is nothing to do now but wait for the draw. The commission has not yet said how winners will be told or what the next step is for them, so keep an eye on its official channels as December gets closer. Applications for the second year are closed.
